Piano, upright bass, and drums are the standard instrumentation for a trio and we can add voice, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, or guitar if you'd like.

Depending on your needs, I can bring some of the world's most renowned jazz artists and Grammy winners (NY/LA) or the highest level local talent!

Additional Details

The rate is $450 for a trio and up. The cost is calculated based on the number of musicians, performance length, driving distance, and the event type (whether it's a holiday or wedding).

We require a performance contract and a 50% deposit to secure the date with the balance due immediately after the performance. Payment can be made by cash, check, zelle, venmo, or paypal.

We can play jazz and all of its subgenres including swing, bebop, cool jazz, hard bop, post bop, modern jazz, traditional 1920s new orleans jazz, great american songbook, bossa nova, samba, latin jazz, and afro cuban. While we can play contemporary music and pop, that will be up to our discretion. If you have a song request, we can play it for a fee depending on its difficulty.

Performance lengths can range from 1 to 4 hours with 2 or 3 hours being the most common durations.

For a 3 hour gig, we would arrive atleast one hour before the show starts to set up, warm up, and check sound. Then, we'd play for the first hour, take a 15 min break, play for 45 mins, take a 15 min break, and play for another 45 mins. This is to prevent injury/fatigue and to keep the body at its best performing shape. Then, we'd tear down for 30 mins.

We set levels during sound check so I can absolutely guarantee that the band will play at an appropriate volume for the room. You're welcome to be there for this so we can agree upon a volume range.

We can provide all sound equipment and just need electricity and ~12x10' of space to comfortably perform in. A grand piano that has been tuned on the day-of is preferred, but not required.

Nearby parking is required and so is shade if it's outdoors. A dressing room/green room is optional. Let me know if food/drink are provided just so we can plan ahead.

For attire, we typically wear business casual clothing to maintain a high level of professionalism. Suits or tuxedos can be worn on request.

Every type of setting that we could perform in: restaurant, bar, wine bar, club, concert hall, theater, festival, hotel, church, house concert, wedding (cocktail hour, ceremony, dinner), corporate event, gala, private party, birthday, or holiday party (Christmas, New Years, Easter, July 4th).

Thank you for considering my band for your live music needs!
